“ I've been a regular at Hendersons for years. Every time I come to Killeen, I've got to stop at this family owned diner. Over the years, the service and food quality has always been consistent. Something about Hendersons feel and looks like home! It's got Southern charm; old, country style decor and a bunch of tv's. Even the servers know most of us regulars by name, and will converse with you and make you feel welcome. Our server, Andy, was hilarious and helpful. We came for breakfast but I really craved their vegetable soup. I didn't know they only served it during lunch but they made an exception and brought me a bowl anyways! The soup here is what I have been having for years and years now and you can't go wrong. With it, I had a fresh coffee, and biscuits and gravy. The portion sizes were plenty and we left full and happy. ”

“ Get the catfish, I am not joking. They are gigantic tender filets, breaded to perfection, and flakey/juicy on the inside. Their tartar sauce sucks, but you kind of don't need it with this. Hubby ordered the roast beef, and even he hit bottom, lol, this never happens. We had plenty left over to take home. The service is quick and friendly. You seat yourself and they come right up and give you the menu and take your drink order. The menu has everything you could possibly want for a family style diner. The portions are gigantic, I mean huge, I mean like a family of four could share one serving. ”
